RRR 018: How Our Attachment Style Affects Our Prayer
Show Notes

Fr. Steve and Ashley continue their discussion of attachment theory by looking at how our different attachment styles may affect our relationships, especially our prayer.

When we have an insecure attachment style, our prayer life has the potential to cause doubt or fear in us based on the unpredictability of it.  Much of our prayer turns into fighting the lie that God isn't who He says He is. Those with a secure attachment still have doubts and fears that come up at times, but they believe God is who He says He is and knows that He will always be there and has always been there in our story. No matter where we find ourselves, God is always calling us to more, to greater healing and greater intimacy with Him.
